We are incredibly proud of the team for all the hard work, support, and fun they brought to every day of the season. This is truly a special group and it showed at our final race of the season. Here are a few highlights from Saturday’s race:
- Over 90% of the team ran a personal best at Districts!
- The boys team finished in 2nd place, 4 points behind Kinard, and were led by Oliver Singleton who finished in 4th place (out of 250 runners), Jake Kirby in 6th place, Ian Tiley in 7th place, and Max Abernathy in 11th place. All these boys ran 2 miles in under 12 minutes!
- The girls team also finished in 2nd place and were led by Gracyn Redmon who finished in 7th place overall (out of over 200 runners), Juliet K. in 8th place, Kendall Montross in 9th place, and Ayslee Stone in 10th place! All these girls ran the 2-mile race in under 13 minutes!
- Amazingly, Lesher had 7 boys and girls in the top 10! That is more than any other school in Fort Collins!
