Hello Vikings! My name is Natalie Giza and this is my first year teaching at Lesher. I can't wait to meet the students and get to work teaching them the wonders of math and science! Josh Swann will be my teaching partner this year and together we make up Team Red. I am so excited to implement the IB model and incorporate as many real-world scenario questions as I can into the curriculum. I have two bachelor's degrees from Colorado State University, one in engineering science and the other in international studies with a minor in spanish. I am currently enrolled in the ASPIRE to teach program at CU Denver and will be completing my education there through the alternative teaching pathway. When I'm not at school I love to hike, bike, raft, SUP, garden, draw, read and see live music. As a transplant from Maryland, I am constantly in awe of this beautiful place we get to call home. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Email is the best bet to set up a time to talk over the phone or in person. Go Vikings!!
