I was born and raised in Fort Collins. After graduating from Rocky Mountain High School in 2004, I joined the United States Army. I spent five years as an M1A1 Armor Crewman, and spent 27 month deployed to Iraq. After leaving the military in 2010, I returned to Fort Collins to attend CSU. I earned a bachelor's degree in history and my secondary education certification in 2014. I taught at Fort Lupton Middle School for 7 years before coming to Lesher.

I live with my wife Blair, who is a veterinarian here in Fort Collins, and our two dogs Evie and Arthur. I'm happy to be back home, and love teaching in the community I grew up in.
