**Exciting News** Lesher’s 8th grade football team will be competing against Blevins in the PSD Middle School Football Championship at French Field (behind Rocky Mountain High School) on Saturday 10/25 at 10AM! If you want to see some great football and cheer on the defending district champions (2013 7th grade football champions), come out to French Field, wear your Blue and Gold, and get loud! Excellent work to our 8th grade student-athletes, Coach Wasinger and the rest of the coaching staff. Thank you and Go Vikings!
It’s the end of 1st Quarter and time to hunt through our Lost & Found bin in the cafeteria for clothing, books, water bottles, unmatched shoes, and other miscellaneous Items that have gone missing since the start of school. If the article does not belong to you, please do not take as the rightful owner might still be looking for it.
These will be on display through the end of school next Thursday, October 23rd. After that date the items will be donated to a local charity.
7th and 8th grade students interested in Boys’ Basketball will sign up between Wednesday, October 15th and Wednesday, October 22nd at the Athletic Table. If you make the team, a current physical (in the last 12 months), proof of insurance, and $75 athletic fee (unless free or reduced lunch Eligible or if the family has met the $300 PSD family maximum for athletic fees) are due to the main office by Monday, November 3rd.
Tryouts are Monday, October 27th – Friday, October 31st and cuts will be made beginning Wednesday, October 29th.
The School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado is offering the 23rd annual UNC State Mathematics Contest for middle and high school students. This contest is designed for grades 7-12 but sixth graders are welcome. There is no cost for this contest and top scorers will be invited to the UNC campus to participate in the Final Round in January.
