Do you like Volleyball? Are you a Rams fan? Do you want something fun to do over Thanksgiving break AND support your Lesher Vikings? If so, the Colorado State University Rams volleyball team is providing a great opportunity over Thanksgiving break for families to attend an exciting, highly entertaining volleyball match against UNLV at a very reasonable cost. The CSU Rams are currently the number 1 ranked team in the Mountain West Conference and are ranked number 18 in the nation! They also are 1 of only 2 undefeated teams (25-0) across Division 1 volleyball!

The Catalina field trip was a huge success! The students learned a lot about sustainability, had fun exploring the ocean ecosystem, and probably the most rewarding was seeing this group of students make new connections and come together as a group. This group of students represented Lesher wonderfully. Several staff at the field trip camp mentioned how impressed they were with our students and that they can't wait to have Lesher students back next year! These students deserve a pat on the back.
Mix it Up at Lunch Day is a national campaign launched by Teaching Tolerance a decade ago. Mix It Up at Lunch Day encourages students to identify, question and cross social boundaries. In surveys, students have identified the cafeteria as the place where divisions are most clearly drawn. So on one day – Thursday, November 21st this school year – we ask students to move out of their comfort zones and connect with someone new over lunch. It’s a simple act with profound implications.

Below is a link to a flyer of the Skillman Photography December makeup days. Skillman will send images taken these days to our yearbook sponsor Becky Knips. They do this every year to give those who missed having their picture taken at school or missed our makeup day a chance to have their picture taken. Skillman will let Lesher know who they photographed in case there is not a photo on file already.
Please note that these photo days are NOT at Lesher but at the Skillman Photograph Studio. Their address is on the attached flyer.
On Monday, November 4th, over 30 of Lesher’s top math minds competed in the University of Northern Colorado’s Math Contest.
