Unless fees and fines are either paid or cleared you will Not receive your yearbook until Friday morning, last day of school!
8th Grade: On Friday (5/22), please check the list of fines outside the office by your Student ID # to see if you owe fees or fines.
Lesher’s 1st Annual GT Summer Institute’s online registration closes Sunday, May 31st! This summer enrichment program is geared to gifted and talented and motivated 5th – 8th grade students interested in creative course offerings designed to go above and beyond June 8th – 12th (8:30am – 3:15pm). Classes will emphasize creativity, inquiry, and deep thinking, culminating in an open-house style showcase of student learning.
Lesher's two Model UN teams did an outstanding job at the CO Model UN Conference in Steamboat Springs. Shane Ball and Claire Flippen from Team India, and Maya Shields and Audrey Tweeton from Team China all gave compelling speeches to large groups on the importance of promoting clean cookstoves in rural India and stopping the illegal ivory trade, respectively.
Our Lesher Middle School Advanced Chamber Orchestra has been given a wonderful opportunity. They have been selected to play the National Anthem at a Rockies Game this Baseball Season.
Lesher students traveling to Germany, Switzerland, and Venice, Italy would appreciate your support by attending and/or contributing. Stop by our annual neighborhood garage sale this Saturday, May 16:

Congratulations to all the National Poetry Month winners, who were recognized during the three lunches on May 1. Out of all the entries, judges Mrs. Marsh and Mr. Sterling selected three top winners from each grade. They are:
Lesher is proud of the Lesher Science Bowl team! They have done a great job representing both Lesher and Colorado!
The following picture is of Rabi, Claire, Nathan, and Larry during the academic portion of the competition. They went on to build a Lithium battery car and competed for the fastest time. There was also time to play and meet new friends from around the country. Way to go Science Bowl team!
